Yoon Shin Yi, founder of yido, received her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, at Hongik University, and received her Master's degree at Kyoto City University of Arts. She held many group and private exhibitions; her first private exhibition was held in 1984. Seomi Gallery held the exhibition: 'Yi Yoon Shin and Haegangyo' presented a new functional and stylistic possibility in Koryo Celadon. Soon after, the 'Yi Yoon Shin Invitation Exhibit', held in Yufuku Gallery in Kyoto, drew the public's attention to how compatible Korean sensibility is with international customers. Moreover this ceramics were used in TV program 'Kimchi Chronicles' conducted by worldwide Michelin 3 star chef Jang George and the it was achieved the artistic merit through the exhibition in southern Seoul Museum of Art.
