yido의 대표이사 회장이자 도예가인 이윤신은 홍익대 미대와 대학원, 일본 교토시립미술대학원을 나왔으며 1984년 일본에서 첫 개인전을 시작으로 다수의 개인전과 단체전을 열었습니다. 서미갤러리에서의 '이윤신과 해강요' 는 고려 청자의 새로운 가능성을 제시하였고, 도쿄의 Yufuku Gallery에서 열린 '이윤신 초대전' 은 도예의 본질적인 아름다움을 드러내며 국제적 호환성을 지닌 한국의 감성을 일본에 널리 알렸습니다. 또한 세계적인 미슐랭 3스타 셰프 장 조지가 진행한 TV프로그램 '김치크로니클' 에서도 그녀의 그릇이 사용되었으며, 2013년 가을에는 남서울시립미술관에서 전시를 통해 예술적 가치를 인정받았습니다.

Yoon Shin Yi, founder of yido, received her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, at Hongik University, and received her Master's degree at Kyoto City University of Arts. She held many group and private exhibitions; her first private exhibition was held in 1984. Seomi Gallery held the exhibition: 'Yi Yoon Shin and Haegangyo' presented a new functional and stylistic possibility in Koryo Celadon. Soon after, the 'Yi Yoon Shin Invitation Exhibit', held in Yufuku Gallery in Kyoto, drew the public's attention to how compatible Korean sensibility is with international customers. Moreover this ceramics were used in TV program 'Kimchi Chronicles' conducted by worldwide Michelin 3 star chef Jang George and the it was achieved the artistic merit through the exhibition in southern Seoul Museum of Art.
